From 2019-2020 Philip served as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant to V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University in Kharkiv. He is currently a Graduate Fellow in Slavic, Eastern European, and Eurasian Studies at The Ohio State University, specializing in East European History and International Relations. Philip’s thesis analyzes the lives of Soviet writers living in Ukraine during the 1920s-1930s. Philip first came to Ukraine in 2018 and fell in love with the country. He hopes to share his admiration for all things Ukraine with our audience.
Gabriel worked as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant at the Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture in Kramatorsk, Ukraine for the 2019-2020 academic year. Gabriel is a government relations professional in Washington DC where he helps clients navigate the complex and ever-changing political environment. As the son of two artists’ he is passionate about sharing the rich and evolving contemporary culture of Ukraine with readers.
